The founding of the Junghans company goes way back to 1861, when Xaver and Erhard Junghans started to produce clock parts in a small town called Schramberg in the middle of the Black Forest. The German company has maintained its headquarters in the town of Schramberg to this day. Alongside German brands such as Bruno Söhnle, Junghans is one of the world's most popular watchmaking companies. At times, the company was the largest clock factory in the world with 3000 employees. Junghans has preserved its long tradition of the best watchmaking art over time: With the slogan Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow, convincing high-quality movements have been produced for over a century. The fine workmanship is reflected in numerous variations and extends across the most diverse collections to solar, wall, radio-controlled watches and more. 

Wide range of ladies' and men's watches

Junghans produces both specific models for women and men. Also, simple, timeless and classic unisex models are mainly offered as table and wall clocks. The precise timepieces in the Max Bill collection tell the time with pinpoint accuracy as quartz or radio-controlled clocks. Especially the reliability of radio-controlled clocks convinces in the long term with this series! 

The models are mostly made of high quality stainless steel (316L), which is well tolerated by the skin, while the straps are made of genuine leather. Sapphire crystal is used in the particularly valuable models. The cheaper versions have a dial that is protected by hexalite.

A journey through time from 1972 to the master of modernity

The Junghans company did not only focus on certain types of watches, but produced all kinds of timepieces before 1972. These include, for example, alarm clocks, board, stop, kitchen or pocket watches. As an innovative pioneer, the first digital wristwatch worldwide appeared on the market in 1990 and the first analogue radio-controlled wristwatch from the Junghans MEGA series in 1991. Even in the following years, the collections have not lost their quality, innovation and brilliance!

1972

The 1972 series shines especially with its chronographs and wristwatches, which are also available as chronoscope and solar models. Two centrally placed totalizers are reminiscent of an hourglass, emphasizing the transience of time and reviving the nostalgia of the 70s. The chronoscope enables a precise measurement of time spans. With a clock like this, you are always moving in time.

Form

The Form series promises new variations in design with its men's and women's watches. This modern collection focuses on timeless and stylish impressions, with a wristwatch or chronograph adorning the wrist and making it sparkle. The A in the Form A models stands for automatic movement, and these noble gems are truly A-quality. As the name suggests, the Form C models are chronographs that have a precise stop function. In terms of other features, they are in no way inferior to the A models. With a timepiece like this, you will always stay in shape! 

Radio & Solar

Perfectionist watch wearers who value innovation and accurate timekeeping, have the choice between special solar and radio-controlled watches. Many models combine both features and do not deviate from the correct time by more than one second for far longer than an entire human lifetime! That is why radio-controlled watches are faithful life companions that can be relied on. 

The company brought out the first radio-controlled solar wristwatch in 1995. The advantages of such models are that they save you the hassle of changing batteries and are environmentally friendly. 

Max Bill

Max Bill models convince with their simple and plain look. They are available as automatic watches or with manual winding. The idea of the precise and modern design is based on the Bauhaus artist of the same name, Max Bill, who designed models for women and men. The quartz watches not only gently forge themselves onto the hand of their wearers, but also take centre stage as wall clock variants.

Meister

The master of watches! The movements of the Junghans Meister line were produced as early as 1936, while in 2011 they were reinterpreted for the 150th anniversary. Traditional craftsmanship is perfected by the luxurious MEGA high-gloss model of the modern era. This series offers different variations, which are characterized by masterly quality workmanship:
